Taxonomy Name Servers (TNS) and Search Engines (TSE)Taxonomic Name Servers and Search Engines Accurate and flexible taxon taxonomy will be integral to the functioning of BioCorder, providing a "key" to discover information about a taxon. A Taxonomic Name Server and Taxonomic Search Engine developed by Rod Page will be used to prototype integration between these name providers and their dependent modules. We will also explore the relationship between BioCorder modules and independent taxon name/concept providers such as uBio, ITIS, and GBIF.
